pipeline.
On the pro side, this guest actually had the nerve to say that us "greenies" were incorrect in saying
that the pipeline would have an environmental impact.
She said that the pipeline (itself) would have no impact.
I suppose she thinks we're stupid.
1- Laying the pipe would have impact. Construction roads for equipment, additional emissions, moving
soil around, etc.
2-More importantly, the pipeline, once built will not sit empty. Hello? Does she think that we'll building
it to not move the tar sands oil from point A to point B?
(No offense to the hammers of the world, but what a tool.)

It speaks to the continuing drought (and our overuse of rivers) but it also speaks to the millions of gallons of water used yearly
for fracking wells.

page but it's not.
Anyway, they did an entire show on fracking caused earthquakes.
Oklahoma is having more quakes in recent years than California. The water they re-inject into the rock
formations are having major repercussions.
Some of their quakes are quite large too. 5-6 not just small ones.
This article asks-but I say yes.

I should have said "wastewater" instead of using the word "re-inject"

They'll argue about it I'm sure. You decide.

If they're shuttering a few plants and laying off workers, how in the world can the gop keep pushing for the keystone xl project?
Isn't their tired, old lament always about jobs?

frack water from chevron will soon water crops in California.

"The wastewater Chevron is selling flows, without municipal treatment
(though the oil products are removed), to 90 local farmers who spread it on their citrus,
nut and grape crops."

and want a ban on the ban of fracking. So far, governor abbott hasn't signed it (but probably will)
Denton (North of Fort Worth) put a ban on fracking previously.
$$$ but what they don't realize (or care about) is a large portion of that will be spent on doctors, hospital visits
and medicines by the people in that area from the water/air pollution.

Why?
Because after 44 years of rule by the conservatives in Canada; people voted them OUT!

And the newly elected Democratic party want to address climate change.
