Frugality, is commonly associated with:
. . . minimalism,
. . . extreme thriftiness, and such,
but, there are other values to consider.

Example of garbage bags, the
. . . 5 cents apiece ($5 for 100 bags), were the cheapest bags,
. . . but, they could only be filled halfway, and  
. . . occasionally split open,
. . . creating a huge mess on the kitchen floor,
. . . . . . causing a number of additional "Jobs" to be done,
. . . . . . wasting "Time," and
. . . . . . getting, good clothes dirty.
Upon further assessment, there was greater value in the
. . . 20-cent bags ($20 for 100), that allowed them to,
. . . "Do it right the first time."
