If you want to get your point across in politics,
. . . sometimes you’ve got to get a little creative.
California State Senate Pro-Tem Kevin de León, has been pushing forward a bill,
. . . that would revamp California’s generous plug-in tax rebate,
. . . to better benefit low-income families,
. . . crushing a 1984 Ford Ranger to the applause of the gathered crowd.
Not to be outdone, former Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger,
. . . responded with an explosive video of his own.

“Drive-By Journalism:” is a journalist, criticizing a subject he is unfamiliar with.
. . . He claims that:
. . . . . . Paris topped the world charts, for air pollution, and
. . . . . . . . . German coal power, during its nuclear phaseout, is the reason?
. . . . . . . . . (But, there is no smog between Paris and Germany, or other parts of Europe)
. . . . . . Nuclear is to be “fully phased out by 2021” (the date is December 2022),
. . . . . . Natural Gas is “cheaper per unit of power” than coal (it isn’t in Germany), and
. . . . . . German Politicians “are starting to admit” that “coal is the only realistic option” to nuclear
. . . . . . (that particular politician quoted here, has never said anything else in the past decade).
Follow the Money:
. . . There has been no surge in coal power during the nuclear phase-out.
. . . . . . Because, in Germany, new coal plants, just aren’t profitable.
. . . . . . In fact, total coal power production (both lignite and hard coal) fell by 6% last year alone.
