We watched on the computer screen, as we could not make it to a gathering with a blizzard!!
Harrison Ford looks very old, and what was the comedian their for. except the "T" word??
Going into the Syrian drought as the cause of the civil war was political garbage.
No mention of the biggest driver of CAGW----overpopulation!!!
I expected a lot more from the director.
Here is an interesting place;

When people are hungry and thirsty; can't grow their crops and are forced to move because of the climate changing;
that may or may not have been the start of the revolution in Syria but when people are pushed up against it
with no end it sight; it certainly sounds feasible.
Populations on the move will become the norm. Will this cause conflicts? More than likely, as numerous
populations move in and use up resources in other countries.
Just look at how we view immigrants in this country and we're not involved in a war (yet) with them;
but few want them here.
Why would that be different elsewhere?
Once the Southwest (US) and West become too hot to grow crops or raise cattle, those people will move too.
We're already seeing migration's because of sea level rise and whole countries disappearing under the waves.

In one of the episodes of Years of Living Dangerously, they talked about the ocean currents changing.
As more ice melts and mixes with the warmer water, it disrupts the thermohaline circulation.
Years ago when the movie The Day After Tomorrow came out, they focused on that aspect and the
"new ice age" that would happen.
Many would say, yada yada-just a Hollywood movie
but when they spoke to scientists in Years, they talked about the US East coast having harsher winters
as one of the first signs of the disruption of the ocean currents.

The US and Europe had a harsh to brutal winter in 2013, with snow amounts and temperature extremes.

Many of the climate scientists talk about "this will happen by the end of the century-or that will happen
in 30 years" blah blah.
But it's here already; obviously not to the extremes shown in the movie and we have already seen
evidence of it in recent years.
An article from the Daily Kos with charts/graphs and links to studies.

Even in this article they talk about the time frame of "100 years"
(Much sooner, imo-30 years or less??)

As we continue to burn more coal and natural gas, the greenhouse gases will accumulate and winters
will be brutal in many area's of the globe
while others will bake.
