Our Forum Administrators are looking for mature and responsible Forum members interested in joining the volunteer Moderator Team. You don't need prior moderating experience, just a dedicated desire to help provide alternative energy & green living support and awareness.

Requirements for moderating on the AltEnergyShift forum:

1. Familiarity with our Forum and if you haven't been on the forum very long, but interested in moderating, let us know of your interest in moderating and continue your participation by responding to members' queries in an informative and supportive manner.

2. Familiarity with at least one of the following... alternative energy, global warming, recycling or green practices and the ability to provide support.

3. Time availability to log into the Forum to reply to members' postings at least a one or two times per week to answer members' questions and to help manage forum messages.

4. Willingness to work with our team of volunteers.

5. Willingness to mingle and have fun learning and sharing with the community.

If you are interested in joining the Forum Moderation Team, or want more information about what is involved, please write a PM to one of the Forum Administrators or reply below.

I haven't been here long enough, but once I get several posts under my belt and am more familiar with the environment I'd be happy to be considered.

On TreeHugger's Forum, I was a "Content Generator/Monitor"
. . . of a very small section of almost 6,900 entries called:

"Ed's Place
A collection of Ed's daily news items and wisdom"

http://forums.treehu...hp?f=14&start=0

Take a look at the above address, and
. . . if that's the type of content you are interested in,
. . . I would be happy to do the same, on a small section here.

Even better. We've set you up with your very own blog space:
http://www.altenergy...ml/_/eds-place/

Simply click Add Article to begin.

All post will be posted to the blogs frontpage:
http://www.altenergy...page/index.html

Then users can find your articles by clicking the "Ed's Articles" link.

All blog post are also auto posted in the forums for discussion.

PM me with any questions or comments.

Hope you like.

(let's try this one more time)  What do I have to do to become a Mod or Administrator?  I started working with Unit Record Equipment back in 1957 and spent over 45 years operating, programing, systems analysis, etc.

I tried PM's to you and the other treehuggers.
. . . I got an error message, that I didn't have permission.
I tried to put videos in another article.
. . . I got an error message, that I had exceeded my limit.
"Speed Bumps," No big thing, but it slows down what I can do.
. . . So I thought I'd put in for "Mod." or "Admin." while things work themselves out.

Sorry about that was away most of yesterday and today. Only had access via mobile phone. I've added you as a Mod. Please use the Moderator forums, report function or PM before moving, merging or deleting content.

Thanks for helping out. I do hope this will make adding content easier for you. Feel free to send me a PM if you have any other probs or questions.
