It does to me.  That's on my (if I win the lottery) list.

A plot of land in Canada or Paraguay and vacation time to visit it! See Your Earth Share...it's a land trust.
Also one of the solar chargers you can stick on your window. What a brilliant idea!

I have posted previously on this forum that our house lighting is almost all CFL - we were given a job lot when we moved in. I also said that we would use LED replacements when the CFLs failed. At the time, none had. One since has. It's one of a pair of table lamps in our lounge.I replaced it with a LED bulb. There is no discernible difference in light output. But it is much cooler to the touch, a result of the higher efficiency and thus reduced losses.

I'm not new to the use of LEDs.
As a company,we make electrical equipment. Much of it has front panel indication lamps for status indication. We used to use filament lamps. Then LED cluster lamps came along that were the same physical fit. That was about 20 years ago.

They are, of course, much more efficient than the incandescents. That's not a such a big deal when you have a lamp that consumes 1W instead of 3W on a panel controlling a 6,000,000W motor.
The reason we fitted them was their projected life given as 30,000 hours. In fact, I have no record of a single failure. And we must have fitted thousands of them.

I would like solar panels. I was driving home this morning from running errands and seen a house close by with them.  It actually got me thinking about it.  It's not something I can get right now but definitely in the future!

Solar panel for me as well.  Although it won't be possible to have this soon, but someday, I will have one.

A few acres, a glass house covered in solar panels, covered parking covered in solar panels, a garden
(planted and tended by landscapers  ) ton's of trees, tons of flowers everywhere, a small (recirculating water)
babbling brook leading into a small pond (kept clean with light not chemicals),
a big fat plug for my e-car

and a non-gmo, non-palm oil, sugar free chocolate bar.

A girl can hope right?
