Africa, Russia, Australia, Pakistan, Burma, Bangladesh to New Orleans, US-every place bore the brunt of extreme weather in the last 10 years as the vivid and some of them really poignant images show.

With the state of the planet such, the nations of the World still dither, what with the 'victory' at Durban as this claims:

Some serious reflection called for. Really. Don't you all think so?

How can anything substantial be done regarding climate change, when too many of the players
have the attitude of-
"I'll take my marbles and go home"???

As all these various things take place, the 1,500 mile wide snow storm in Alaska recently, the 500 million trees dying iduring the Texas drought, the southeastern staies running out of water resources, it all will continue to get worse and worse, while as you say they dither. What it will take? I have no idea, but by the time they decide what to do, we will be sitting in a very depressed state of mind and worse. It's not easy being green, as the frog said, was that Kermit?

Too tell you the truth I like her very much as well. I am always mimicing her "moi". I think she is funny as heck. Kermit just fit here. Their creator was someone very special. Thanks again.

In looking up the Muppets online, I ran across this name:
Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem,
Jim Henson was a treasure.

Ok, sorry folks, I've wandered this thread off topic long enough.............

I think this is just the beginning of these extreme weather events...we can expect to see many more in the future because no one is really addressing the problems. It's quite depressing in many ways.

2011 recap in photos.

(Although earthquake photos are part of the gallery, there is no substantial proof
that they are caused by climate change.)

Extremely heart rending pictures of hundreds of catastrophes of 2011. Some tell tales even beyond the descriptions underneath each picture. What does 2012 hold?
