Sometimes I don't notice my stupidity until much later. Why is there a time limit on editing posts?

Hi SpiroFlo,
The forum software came with a default of 15 mins for editing posts. On forum launch we changed that default to 30 mins because we had similar views to yours as well. The time limit is for security reasons mainly for for newer members. You have 47 posts so you are 53 posts away from being auto-moved to the "Pro Shifters" group. Pro Shifters are allowed 6 hours to edit posts and Veteran Shifters are allowed 24 hours.
Although we can't completely remove this. I hope this.

So it is. I'll have to contain my errors until I've blahed enough.
