I want to try some of these things that you guys mentioned but I don't know how to get the kids into it. They are not all for the going green. The don't understand what it really mean.

The whole point in teaching children to be green is explaining that there are other people and other creatures in the world that also need a place to live and food to eat. When you explain it simply as the need to share, the young ones can understand this fairly well. As they get older, just expand upon the explanation in taking care of the place where we live.

For me, it depends what quality the gift wrapping is. Regardless, I always try to take off wrapping from my presents without ripping it, as it gives me some sort of satisfaction...

At the moment my house as a matter of fact does not have much gift wrap. On the other hand, we do however, have a lot of bags going around, and that's what I've been using for the recent past giving of presents. We do have some Christmas wrapping, but bags can as a matter of fact be so much nicer.
